As charged with the duty to acquire the call sign for The Rocket Boys
Festival Special Event Station, it was accomplished with the acquisition of
W8R.

This call sign will be ours from October the 4th, 5th, and the 6th, with
the station being most active on the 5th.

Pass the announcement of the special event station being on the air on the
above dates.

I hope to see ALL of you there. We will have a booth by the main building
at the New River Park in Beckley. Directions will be coming on our website
soon.
