[W8MWA] Field Day Planning

Well as you all know Field Day 2012 is just around the corner and we are hoping for a much better operation this year as compared to last year!

So far it is looking favorable that the suggestion of using the big pavilion at Marilla Park will be accepted by BOPARK so we will have a nice place for everyone to kick back and enjoy the day, cook out, and make some noise on the radio.

HOWEVER, we still have a lot of planning to do before June 23, 2012 so lets get together and decide what stations you want to setup or assist with???

One of the big parts of putting this all together will be the antenna setup as with all 3 - 4 stations close by, we are going to have to be very careful how we setup the antennas.


Therefore, we are planning on having a antenna testing party one a Saturday evening very soon to see what we can get setup and how it will work.


So keep a listen out on the radio as well as by email for when we can get together. It will probably be a Saturday or Sunday evening around 4pm or 5pm if weather and access permits.
