[W8MWA] SSTV try out

Well tonight Josh and I tried out the SSTV idea with mixed results.

We were sending full color pictures in Martin2 mode since the entire transmit time is only 59 seconds per picture.

On 446.500Mhz we could hear each other but it was marginal. Be it that we were both running barefoot (20watts) and we both live in a valley it was better than I had expected.

For the heck of it we switched to 146.580Mhz running barefoot again (50watts) and it was solid copy!

So now that we have a baseline to work with lets see what we can do from here!?!?!? I got a 100watt amp for 70cm and I am not afraid to use it!!!
