Hey All,

Beach or Bust Bike Ride Sept 20 - 21 2014. Will, W4WNT was on the Dillon
repeater today figuring out what the coverage was on the repeaters they
will be using. I told him that MS150 used Dillon last year and I didn't see
an issue using it this year since that's one reason why its here. Beach or
Bust is a new event, same route, same members, same reason as the MS150.
The MS150 is on Oct 18-19 2014 but will be more localized to the Sunset
Beach area. If no one has any objections or reasons why Dillon can not be
used please let me know...Ben, KK4KSZ also heard the conversation an he had
no objections either. I think they will only need it for Sept. 21, 2014 but
approval for both days would be great. Also even though the MS150 will now
be localized to Sunset Beach, NC would it be appropriate to allow use of
Dillon, 146.745 during Oct 18 - 19, 2014 for this event as well or point
them to the 147.345? You can found out more info by going to

Well after telling Mary Hunt, the Ham Coordinator, since August 18 that she 
needed to contact Danny to obtain use of the Dillon repeater, it looks like 
she finally passed the buck and had someone ask to use Dillon.  Now if she 
will just get the website corrected, I can quit harassing her.
