***W3YXE*** Update on SB 37

Forward from Dave WX3E: Thanks in large part to the amateurs who contacted
their State Senators, there is impovement towards holding up Pennsylvania
Senate Bill SB37 until it can be reviewed and corrected. What is needed now,
is for the senators to hear from volunteer firefighters and officers,
emergency medical technicians and drivers, and paid drivers who are not
driving semis, but light trucks, vans and autos for delivering people,
pizza, and other goods and services, and are radio dispatched, along with
emergency responders who use fire department radios while responding to
emergency and non emergency calls in their personal vehicles.

The next Western Pennsylvania hamfest is the Breezeshooters Hamfest in
Butler at the Farm Show grounds (the one with the airport), on Sunday June
9. This will also be the 2024 ARRL Western Pennsylvania Section Convention,
with speakers and programs of interest to all amateurs. See you there.
