Dear RAE members

I, KB3NAT, recommend, Winter meetings (November to April) be held at the Green Township Building

If APPROVED by Wattsburg Wireless:

The RAE would make a $200 yearly donation to the Wattsburg Wireless Association.

As a bonus: The RAE could bring its T-mobile hotspot to the RAE winter meetings and still provide online access to RAE meetings.

Subject: [W3GV] RAE Club Meetings

There seems to be some conflict as to where to have club meetings in the
Winter months. It was decided and voted on at the club meeting in Oct. that
the club meetings would be held at the Green Township building on Saturdays
at 12 noon because people did not want to drive to the meetings in the dark
winter months. Some people did not like having meetings on Saturday and
stated they would not attend. Also the Wattsburg club which uses the Green
Township bldg.is upset that the RAE was going to use the bldg as we have in
the past.  So then it was decided to have the meetings as usual on the
first Thursday at the RAE clubhouse AND ON-LINE  because  internet access
is now available at the clubhouse. The Dec meeting was held at the
clubhouse both on-line and folks at the clubhouse. The clubhouse has been
winterized (water shut off and drained) and parking could be a problem
because of snow or soft ground.
 So the question is does the club want to continue with the
clubhouse/on-line meetings or try and go back to the Green
Township/Wattsburg location for the winter months?
