[W3GV] New bands and PLC registration

The FCC has potentially opened up 2 new ham bands (630m and 2200m). Since
power line noise may be an issue with these bands, the FCC has a
registration page set up for hams to pre-register. By pre-registering now,
it helps prevent Power Line Communications (PLC) installation near your QTH
which can lead to noise in your area. Even if you don't plan on using these
2 new bands now, registration is still strongly recommended at this time.
The installation of PLC in your area may possibly affect other bands (who
knows), so being pro-active now is a good thing.

You can access info via this article on LinkedIn (see below) and you can
access your coordinates (part of the registration so the FCC knows where
your home QTH is) via your qrz.com listing.
