November 2017 General Meeting Minutes

Board Members and Officers Present: John Lindvay WB3IFD, Frank Etzler N8WXQ, Richard Quinn KB3ZVH, Bob Fuller N3LBI, and Ed Barlow K1ZIK
Members Present: Bob S. KC3GBD, John Szymecki, Ron Seyboldt WB3DOM, and Wendel Howard KC3IYD
Program: Frank Etzler N8WXQ gave a presentation on dipole antennas.
New hams: None
Silent Keys: None
Visitors: Ron Rycek KB3QBB
Treasurer’s report: $1,462.85
Membership report: None
Facilities Report: Special thanks to Ron Seybolt WB3DOM for waterproofing the handicap ramp.  Doug replaced the key box on the front door.  The combination is the same.
Repeater Report: None
Public Service: Doug said he would stay on the Public Service Chairman.  There was some conversation about RACES taking over.
Contesting Report:  North American SSB Sweepstakes is this coming weekend.
Old Business: None
New Business: Nominations for Officers and Board Members was opened up.  Richard Quinn Nominated himself for Secretary. There were no other nominations. Offices still open are President and Vice President.
Christmas Party is December 9.  Cost is $16  Sue Seybolt did and excellent job last year and she is in- charge of it this year  If you want to know the particulars go to the WWA website<http://www.wattsburg-wireless.us/>
