Program: Frank Etzler N8WQX gave a presentation on Log Book of the World

Treasurer’s report: $1,307.54

Membership report: 16 life members, 30 paying members, 4 Free New Hams members = Total of 50 members

Facilities Report: Cleanup was successful.  Will start working on handicap ramp when the weather breaks. Adam Kernoham KB3THU said the club house is open for use to all members.  We should notify him when we hold special events.  Adam’s email is kb3thu at gmail.com<mailto:kb3thu at gmail.com>.  A group meets there every Thursday for 6 to 8 PM.  The group will gladly give instructions on the operation of equipment.

Repeater Report: New antenna needed on .61.  Placement of D-Star repeater was discussed.  Two possible places are the old Verizon building downtown that is now owned by Gannon or the Boy Scouts center located up near Interstate 90.

Public Service: March of Dimes decided they were going to handle communication with cell phones.  Doug called for ham operators of Memorial Day race on May 29 and the Fallen Soldier picnic on Saturday, May 27

Old Business: None

New Business: There will be a board meeting May 18 at 7 PM at the Red Cross Bldg.  John Lindvay WB3IFD urged members to bring unwanted ham equipment for a “Trunk of Junk” mini hamfest right before the June meeting at the club house.  Please arrive as early as possible and bring your “junk”.
