October 2016 General Meeting Minutes

Meeting started at 7 PM

Board Members and Officers Present: Frank Etzler K8WXQ, Doug Sweet AD4UL,
Rich Quinn KB3ZVH, Craig Hill KK3PLV, Gene Brinig K3JZL, Bob Fuller K3LBI,
Ed Barlow K1ZIK,  and John Lindvay WB3IFD.

Program: Arthur C. Collins Legacy

New Hams: None

Silent Keys: None

Visiters: None

Treasurers Report: $907.04

Public Service:  Will participate in JOTA, October 15 and 16th.

Membership Report:  We need a membership chairman.  Any volunteers?  Some
club members complained they have not received a membership card.  Secretary
agreed to mail them out.

Facilities Report: None from chairman Rich Quinn KB3ZVH.  Handicap ramp wood
work is almost done and will be finished this coming Sunday. Many thanks to
Gene Brinig K3JZL.

Repeater Report:  Still having problems with Echolink.  Agreed to work on
the next day.

Contesting Report:  PA QSO party is coming up.  Will have club house open
for anyone who wants to work the party.

Old business: None

New Business:  A motion was make and seconded and passed to put a new ARRL
Tech manual in the main public library.

50/50 was won by John Lindvay WB3IFD

2 Tickets to Conneaut Hamfest was won by Ron Seyboldt WB3DOM
