[W3GV] Morse code keys

Ooh no, don't do that!! Bugs are fun!

Re ultimatic keying: that's howI use a dual lever paddle as well, when I use one, which is nearly never. Of course, I'm amused by using a bug with my KX3, just because it's funny to use a key that's heavier than the radio to which it's connected. Of course, it's all kind of moot at the moment, as I haven't been terribly active the past few months anyway.

I still use my Iambic as what we used to call an automatic keyer - push one side for a series of dots and the other side for a series of dashes. When I operate from the little country of Jersey I use a logging program to send CW. The problem I had with a bug was it produced dots mechanically. I really didn't think anyone still used a bug. I have one here at the station along with a hand key. I was going to send them to a museum in California.
