I donated a USB to RS-232 cable to the club some time back and left it at

Joe Ponchak, Rick Cutter and I met at the club house Thursday night with the
TS-2000. Rick and I hooked it up where the 751 was. The problem we ran
into was the new computer didn't have a RS232 serial port on it to hook up
to. We connected the old computer and we were able to use the original
software that came with the radio. It connected and communicated just fine.
We need to install a serial card in the new computer or we need a USB to
RS232 adapter. Haven't decided which way to go. The problem was a bad
connector on the communications board. It cost us $197 for repair and
$39.13 for shipping. Does anyone have an RS232 card or a USB to R232
adapter they don't need any more and can donate it to the club.
