GM...Had a nice turnout for this w/e ARRL SSB Contest. We operated both Sat. and Sun. Preliminary score is 66681. I believe it was 200+ contacts .These numbers do not yet include 28 20M contacts made mainly by Ron, WB3DOM, at a second operating position .We were unable to load the logging program into the computer by the front door, (forgot what radio that is,) so we had to log by paper. I have not had a chance yet to manually enter it into our master contest log.

Those working the contest were: Rich Q, KB3ZVH, Ron, WB3DOM, John, WB3IFD and myself. Also in attendance to give moral support and "KIBITZ" (Yiddish for "Shoot the Breeze and Give Advice,") was Rick,WA3MKT, Joe, KA3CPV and Adam, KB3THU showed up briefly and plowed out the parking spots in front.

Thanks to John and Joe for bringing Chips, Cookies, and those cream filled cupcakes that come 2 to a package. The 'OFFICIAL CLUB CHEF, " (although she doesn't' know it yet) Cindy, my girlfriend, made Sweet Sausage in a Mild Tomato Sauce along with some Banana/Cinnamon Cake.

Have some pressing personal issues to take care of this week, but hope to have final #'s early next week. Upcoming major contest is not until March 28 - 30, CQ WW WPX Contest, SSB. Others in March that might be of interest are mmainly State QSO Parties. If anyone is interested in any of them, please let me know.

See everyone at the Meeting this Thurs. at the Red Cross Bldg...73's...Mike...WB3DEL
