[W3GV] ARRL June VHF Contest

 This weekend is the ARRL VHF Contest. 2:00PM Sat. to 9:00PM Sunday. 

Rick is going to be taking down the 7 element Yagi for maintenance and putting up a beam in its place for the contest. I believe he is also bringing a second rig to set up another operating position.

NEED OPERATORS...NEED LOGGERS....Come down and chat...

Next weekend is KIDS DAY. Sat. June 21. 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Bring your Grandchildren. Do you have a connection with a school, boy or cub scout pack (or girl scout?). Religious organization.
This is an excellent opportunity to introduce Ham Radio to area kids and possibly get a few interested and be potential new members.
