I know we have all been concerned with rain and the  possibility of 
flooding but this morning freezing rain came into play and the  latest updated data 
put the freezing rain from out over the lake to over Erie  County with 
particular concern along the lake shore.   
I know a lot of people are going on vacation/taking time off,  but ¼ inch 
of ice will bring down power lines/etc.  Please check you  staffing rosters 
and insure you have people available in case we have prolonged  power 
outages. 
Nursing Home, Assisted Living, and special needs facilities-  if you have 
issues please call either your Local EMA and/or the County  EMA.  Do not 
wait.  We can use the time to work with Penelec to see if  power can be restored 
before needing evacuation.   
LEMC, contact your EOC staff, and please brief you Elected  Officials.  
Extra Road crews may be needed.  As always please reach  out to your 
Fire/Police Chief and EMS providers.   
CERT, RACES and CART  please consider yourselves on standby.
