[W3GV] Emergency Alert System Test

The FCC, in coordination with the Federal Emergency  Management Agency 
(_FEMA_ (http://www.fema.gov/emergency/ipaws/eas_info.shtm) ) and the National 
Oceanic and Atmospheric  Administration (_NOAA_ (http://www.noaa.gov/) ), 
will conduct the first nationwide test  of the Emergency Alert System (_EAS_ 
(http://www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/emergency-alert-system-eas) ) at 2 PM EST 
(1900 UTC) Wednesday,  November 9. For additional information, go to

We have been asked to monitor local radio and television  stations during 
the test and report results of the test to Erie County Emergency  Management. 
 The test will last approximately 3 minutes. 
The assignment list so far includes:  
Frank Henry-WMCE 88.5 FM,   
Don Stichick- WXTA Country 98 (97.9 FM),  
Gerald Koos- WSEE TV 35,  
Greg Fisher- 93.9 the Wolf,  
Gerald Owens- WWCB 1370 AM,  
David Wellman-WCTL 106.3 FM,  
Judy Wellman- WQLN TV 54,  
Lee Williams- WFXP Fox TV 66
