Could you please spread the word about the arrival of D-Star in
Northwestern PA and an upcoming event. There are now two D-Star
repeaters operational on two meters, KB3WNO 145.43 in Greenville and
K3AWS 147.15 in Atlantic. The Atlantic Wireless Society is also
holding a D-Star Day on January 28, 2012 in West Middlesex, Pa at exit
3 of Interstate 80. We have arranged for representatives from Icom and
DX Engineering to attend. Check out the website www.dstarday.org for
more details and to register. Anything that you can do to spread the
word of this event would be appreciated and we hope to see a group
show up. I have been able to work the K3AWS repeater on 147.15 from
the intersection of 79 and 90.  Barney K3LA
