The Long Island CW Club (with worldwide reach and 7644 members as of 16:30 UTC) is offering free Field Day CW training during the month of June. Live Zoom sessions are open to all and will focus on the practical skills needed for FD CW operation -- exchange, operating rhythm, listening, sending, common abbreviations, recovery, and confidence-building.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is curious about CW, returning to CW after time away, preparing for a first FD CW contact, or simply interested in understanding how CW works during FD.

Schedule and Zoom access information is available on the LICW website:  https://longislandcwclub.org

With nine classes per week at different skill levels, there's lots to choose from. Attend one or all...whatever works for you. Don't be bashful. LICW emphasizes fun not perfection. Whether you a wiz-bang CW op or a neophyte asking "what's CW", plan to operate, assist, observe, log, or simply learn, you are welcome.

And, even if you never have any intentions of giving up the mic or your favorite digital modes, come check out LICW during this first time "open door" event!
