The next CRA POTA event will be held next Saturday at the Round Valley Recreation Area. We are targeting to use the West Area which is on the left side of the road as you drive past the reservoir. I am including a link to the park map. We are planning to
meet at 9am and are usually done between 11am and noon. Mike Brown was kind enough to confirm that the park service has opened up the bathrooms at the picnic areas for the season.
To make it easier for members to find our location Mike Brown has been experimenting with an app called what3words which can lead people to the exact location. We can discuss the use of the app at our meeting this Wed.
This will probably be the only Round Valle activation until after Labor Day as the park will start to become very crowded once the swim area opens up on Memorial Day weekend, they also start charging for admission to the park between Memorial Day and Labor
Day.
