Well what can I say about field day?  It was HOT!

I think that everyone knew that it was going to be arduous, and, it was.

But certainly do-able and worthwhile. We worked efficiently, took many breaks, and drank lots of water.

Everything performed well.  The beam antenna did its job, many western contacts (including Hawaii and Alaska),  The Philly specials (thanks Phil K2RRX) did great.  In fact I mentioned that I got an Oregon contact on the beam, just to have Sunny say she and Mark just had an Oregon contact on Phil's wire antenna!  Good job.  Even the Gator was doing great.

The food was outstanding, thanks Rob for his chicken and pork, and Kurt for the burgers and dogs. John (KC2GUX) and Don (KC2OTJ) were the grill masters.

Thanks to all the members that showed to set up, operate, and take down.  We had plenty of hands to share the load.

Cant wait for Kurt's detailed report on the numbers, that will be fun.
