W2ZQ PARKS ON THE AIR (POTA)
ACTIVATION ON MAY 25
Due to
a poor weather forecast for
5/18 and problematic band
conditions thanks to solar
CMEs, we are rescheduling
our POTA activation to MAY
25 and changing the
operating time to 2pm – 5pm
to catch better band
conditions.

Please join us on Saturday
morning, May 25 in New
Jersey’s Washington Crossing
State Park in Washington
Crossing, NJ as W2ZQ plans to
conduct a Parks On The Air
(POTA) activation. Weather
permitting, we’ll set up in
the Knox Grove picnic area
between the children’s play
area and the roofed picnic
pavilion, which we can use as
a shelter if a Spring rain
shower pops up. Join us for
the setup between 1pm to 2pm,
and/or join us for the
activation itself, which will
run from approximately 2pm to
5pm. Reserve operating time
(see below) so you can have
the experience of working a
“POTA pileup” (we hope!).
