Hello W2CRA,Ed and I were members of the club before we moved to Elkton, Maryland 9 years ago.We now work with a club south of us, Columbia ARA, when they work horse events at Fair Hill in Elkton, MD.We have a 100 mile ride coming up June 22 and 23 at Fair Hill, MD and I wonder if any Cherryville HAMs might like to help with it. We got our start working horse events with the Cherryville Repeaters. A group came out for many years to work the Canal Ride and enjoy the chili dinner when the horses were back.If anyone is interested, they can reach out to me at:marygnelson3@icloud .com or email Andy Protigal, the coordinator at:[email protected] and he can answer your questions and sign you up.Elkton is about 2 hrs from you. Since the ride runs for 24 hrs, there are many shifts available and camping over can be arranged.
