Here is the latest info about the North New Jersey ARES Sector.

January 17           8 pm EST NNJ ARES NET on 146.895 -600 PL 151.4 and on Echolink WS2Q-L  Counties are called in alphabetical order. Anyone from Hunterdon is welcomed to check in.  Format: W2VTV (net control, John Wyatt) this is say your callsign (phonetically), first name, town/township, All Systems Operational (say ASO) and type of power (commercial, battery, generator, solar, etc.

Details are being worked out for a Western District ARES NET to include Morris, Sussex. Warren, and Hunterdon counties. The reason for this net is that these counties are impacted by winter and summer storm events that do not necessarily impact other sections of the 14 counties covered in the NNJ ARES Sector.

Any individual who is interested in joining NNJ ARES/Western District ARES please contact Jim Kennedy at [email protected] This invitation applies to any organization in emergency service (CERT) that would be interested in an ARES presentation.

Gene KD2RRP FN20nr/FM13bx (FM13bx is a very tiny section of Kure Beach, NC that is officially known as Ft. Fisher (as in the battle that turned the tide of the Civil War).
