the ad for the honda 2200 generators allegedly from wayfair @ $59 has popped up on facebook more than once.

the ad appears to be legitimate.

anyone have any info on this?

You will notice that wayfair is not in the URL featured in the advertisement.

Yet there is a legitimate wayfair.com.

Use your credit card which can be reversed when it's proven phony and order one for 59 bucks. You can't possibly go wrong at that price should it actually approve to be legitimate.

I got hooked in a similar situation for a laptop somewhat over a year ago...

Different company being maligned but same end result...

The contact name Email is : silhoui @gmail.com But NOT a silhoui @ wayfair .com which seems really strange.

Moreover the WAYFAIR logo goes to https://lecturepop.com/

The actual WAYFAIR logo goes to https://www.wayfair.com/

Looks like and smells like a scam.

Boxes are the Canadian version. Can't get that in the US.

And says made in the USA very clearly. But the real generator is made in Thailand.

In the background, it shows the EU3000 handi - which has been discontinued for almost 2 years.

Smells fishy. Old fishy. Buyer beware! Don't be a victim!

If it sounds too good to be true, it is. I fell for it, PayPal reversed the charge.
