[W2CRA] Field Day

Well, another fine field day.

I would like to thank all those who made it happen!  Over the past few
years, I've thought about the effort required for all the set up and take
down.  Then sitting and chatting with my friends, getting in some cool
operating time, I am so happy we do this.

A highlight of this year, along with all the cool people, was that two
applicants who passed their initial test at our last VE session showed up!
They got to make some contacts and meet the rest of the club.  They have
not been on HF, and it was great to see them overcome some mic fright and
make some great contacts.

We are sending photos to Carrol, who is posting them on our Facebook page.
So, you can see some action there.

Look for another email concerning our next event - the Lebanon 4th of July
parade.
