As many of you know, I am active in Vermont RACES and working to create a
robust back-up communications system for the hospitals.  We just got a HF
system up and running in time for the statewide test this Saturday, October
4.

 

If any of you can try to check in from NJ (or where ever) it would be very
helpful to understand our capabilities.  Feel free to check in after the
regular hospitals do so.  Alternatively, email me a signal report once you
hear N2VJK/Copley Hospital, Morristown.  Let me know if you hear other
hospitals as well.

 

10:30am Local  HF SSB testing.  Informal net control.  3976khz, LSB.
Additional suggested frequencies: 7283khz LSB, 28.339Mhz USB.  Feel free to
contact me via text during the period and I will try to assist in making
contact.
