[W2CRA] POTA November 16th Round Valley Recreation Area

There were some questions on where to meet on Saturday.  The main entrance to the Park is off the Stanton-Lebanon Rd.  If coming off of 22 you will go past the boat ramp area and the main entrance to the park will be on the left.

We will meet at the main entrance at 10am.  We can use the .375 repeater for talk ins.

Subject: POTA November 16th Round Valley Recreation Area

The club's next POTA event will be this Saturday (November 16th) at Round Valley Recreation Area.  The plan is to utilize the West Day Use Area.  Since not everyone knows the park, we will meet at the park's main entrance at 10am and caravan from there.  I will be on the clubs simplex freq for talk ins if folks need information, once they are in the area of the park.  This will probably be the last activation for the year, so hope we have a good turnout.  Remember, you do not need equipment ( though everyone is encourged to bring their gear) to attend and participate.  So if you have never tried POTA and want to see what it is about, these events are a great opportunity.

Also, in case anyone is wondering, there is no fee for park access this time of year.
