[W2CRA] Looking for a good HF radio

Hi Steve,
I recently got the same radio at recommendation from folks in the club as well as all the great online reviews. 
Got mine from DX Engineering. It was $1300 with $200 off from DX and $100 manufacturer rebate, so basically the same price. It was the best I could find at the time.

I am looking for a good HF radio.  

  

I am thinking about the Icom IC-7300 from Gigapart for $999.95.  Is this a good radio at a good deal? Or do you have advice on different model or source?
