[W2CRA] Big news from last night's meeting

Hello Friends of CRA,

We had our April general meeting last night.  Ballots were counted for the board positions.

All previous officers were re-elected, except - Steven Krommenhoek (KD2OTK) will be our new treasurer!

Our prior treasurer, John (KD2GUX) has done an outstanding job, and really could use relief.  He is quite busy with our club, plus many other obligations with his family, and work at his yacht club.  Plus, another important duty, he reminds me of the things I should be doing.  (Don’t stop John - and Tony, and Rob, and Wes and Kurt)

So, a heart felt thank you to John, and a thank you Steve for picking it up.  John of course will be around to transition Steve into the his new position, and now John can transition to being a regular member.

Other breaking news - we have a new board position.  The board agreed to add the position of Club Chaplain.  Father Bill (W2BWL) who has already been dong those duties at our events has accepted the position!  Thank you Father Bill, we are honored.

We are re-writing our by laws to get them in a modern format, and the Chaplain position will be added.
