All -

Please be advised that the Cherryville Repeater Association will conduct
it's first Relay Net on Wednesday October 10 at 8:00pm.

Here is what you need to know to participate:

I will be acting as the Net Control Station (NCS).  At 8pm, I will start
calling for check-ins on the club simplex frequency 147.52MHz.  We will
operate FM.  Do not worry if you cannot hear me.  I will add the
stations that I hear to the NetLogger logger program.  You can follow
along if you have NetLogger running on your computer.

The Stations that I can hear will be added to the NetLogger app. Once I
gather all the stations that I can hear, i will then ask each station
that has checked in to one by one call out for additional check-ins on.
If you cannot hear the 1st relay station either do not worry, you might
be able to hear the second or third relay station.

As the first relay station calls out for check-in, they will relay the
stations they have heard back to the NCS.  Once the first relay station
collects that they can hear, they will turn it back to NCS.  The NCS wil
do the same with the second relay station and progress through the
relays.  Once all the stations that could be heard have checked in, we
will close the net.

Please note that the only traffic that will be passed will be call sign
and name.  This is not a net to pass any other traffic like we do on the
Thursday net.

Also please note that my antenna will be vertically polarized.

If you plan to participate in the net, please let me know via email so
that we can get a feel for interest in this net and so that the NCS can
listen for you.
