  *March Monthly Meeting*

On Wednesday, March 10th 2021, the Delaware Valley Radio Association 
monthly meeting HELD VIA VIRTUAL WEB CONFERENCE will feature a 
presentation titled *“How to Work the FM Satellites with your HT” by 
Clint Bradford, K6LCS.*

Clint Bradford, an AMSAT Ambassador says, “Getting started with ham 
satellites is easier than you may think”! You may already have 
everything you need to access FM voice satellites, monitor the ISS, and 
more.” Clint is an awesome advocate for amateur satellite activity and 
runs the very popular www.work-sat.com

Clint Bradford has been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1994, 
and worked in the commercial side of the radio industry. He has given 
his “How to Work the Amateur Satellites with your HT” presentation more 
than 100 times over the past few years to clubs and hamfests across the 
US and Canada via EchoLink, Skype and Zoom conferences.

Open to the public. Feel free to join for all or part of the meeting.

Members will receive an email with instructions on how to join the Zoom 
teleconference by March 8th.  Members of the public are invited to

  *Attention all members: CW Class started on March 2nd*

    _It's not too late to join the class_

The DVRA CW class for beginners and intermediate level Morse Code 
enthusiasts started on March 2nd. The classes are conducted online, 
utilizing the ZOOM application. They are held for a half hour, twice a 
week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The classes will run through April 
22nd. The beginner class is held from 7-7:30pm, immediately followed by 
the intermediate session from 7:30-8pm.

This is a members only class. Another great benefit of the DVRA.

  *VHF New Ham Net*

Both new and experienced operators are welcome to join this monthly, 
informal round-table discussion and Q&A led by net control station 
operator Martin Crabtree, W3PR.

*Antenna Construction Event at W2ZQ shack*

The DVRA antenna committee will be holding a construction event for 
members on Saturday, March 27th at 12 pm at the DVRA shack.

Participants will be able to construct any of the following items: a 
quarter wave 2 meter ground plane antenna, a 3-foot coax jumper, or a 
feed line window mount. This is a good opportunity to construct your own 
inexpensive 2 meter antenna and to learn how to solder coaxial connectors.

Contact Greg (K3EA at arrl.net) in advance to ensure we have enough 
materials on hand. Rain date will be the following day. Any last minute 
changes will be posted to the “W2ZQ Membership” Google Group
