All,

Len (K3SLJ) and I did some work at Cherryville this morning and I'm happy to report that our replacement 444.85 repeater
(Thanks Chris!) is now up and running at the new building in Cherryville and available for all to use.

Coverage should be GREAT!  At least as good as 375 assuming you are  using a "real" antenna.

Your radio should be programmed to receive on 444.850 - PL 141.3 (optional) and transmit on 449.850 - PL 141.3 Required.

Note - the repeater sends it's ID: W2CRA in Morse WITHOUT PL so if you are using receive PL you won't hear the ID or, in
many cases, you won't hear a squelch "tail".

There is NO "courtesy" tone or other features as it is using the controller internal to the Motorola MTR-2000 repeater.
