All -

I hope that your time with social distancing is going as well as possible.

As a result of the restrictions placed on us, the Flemington Baptist
Church has closed it's facilities to social gatherings. This includes
our meeting for April 10 and perhaps future meetings.

The board thinks that having a remote meeting might be a fun idea.
Knowing that we had the long anticipated "History of Ham Radio" as told
by Leslie, KC2EIN on the agenda for April, we feel that this might not
be a good presentation for our first virtual meeting.  We will push
Leslie's presentation until May when we might be able to meet in person
or have a better feel for how the virtual meeting will work for us.

Instead, we are going try a "Show Your Shack" presentation. This would
be like a show and tell of you ham shack. To make this work, people who
would like to participate would need to take a photo of their ham shack
and have it display on their computer screen. When it is your time to
present, you would share your screen with the people on the meeting so
they can see the picture of your shack.  Then you would speak to the
group telling them all about you station.  If you are uncomfortable with
sharing your screen then you can send me the picture and I will share it
for you.

As stated, the April 10th meeting will be a virtual meeting. We are
going to try using Zoom <https://www.zoom.com> as it seems to be popular
these days.  At the normal meeting time, you would load up your favorite
browser on your computer or mobile device and join the meeting from the
comfort of your home.

If you are interested in participating then send me a note so that I can
put together an agenda.  If your shack looks anything like mine, I'm
hoping that I have given you enough warning to get things cleaned up for
the picture. Please look for an invite to the club meeting coming shortly.

Please stay safe.

-Kurt, KR2c
