The leadership of Hy Gold (AB2VG) and Mario Filippi (N2HUN) are 
responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and performing the work at the 
station like:

  * Regular control of property overgrowth
  * Ongoing storage clean-out and organization (shed, workshop, furnace)
  * Trash disposal and recycling of cans, bottles, and cardboard
  * Monitoring of fuel levels (equipment gasoline, furnace oil)
  * Grass and shrub trimming throughout the year
  * Fire safety (smoke detectors, fire extinguishers)
  * Cleanup and removal of windblown trash and debris
  * Driveway, walkway, and parking maintenance
  * Footpath construction
  * Electric and HVAC repairs and upkeep
  * Snow and ice removal

As the club's two property management co-directors, Hy and Mario's 
dedication is what makes the club station a safe and inviting atmosphere 
to visit and get on the air!

Welcome, gentlemen!

Annual W2T & W2P special event stations netted 2,000 QSOs

The annual W2T and W2P special events were a great success this year, 
having netted over 2,000 QSOs from our club station.

The DVRA executive committee congratulates and thanks Mike Rauch (K2VPX) 
for making this event so successful for us!

Mike stepped in and organized the event to ensure the station was open 
to members across the 10-day event, as well he created special event 
logging software the club used to provide a near-instantaneous email QSL 
when a remote station worked either W2T or W2P.

Members will be busy for the next three months processing and sending 
special event QSL cards and certificates as shown below.

Help shape the 2020 monthly club meeting presentations

Program Director Cliff Green (WA2TMF) is preparing the line-up of 
amateur radio presentations for the upcoming 2020 monthly club meetings 
that occur on the second Wednesday of each month.

Cliff is looking for presenters who can engage the audience for 30 to 60 
minutes while explaining something they've done or know, whether it be a 
certain operating style or mode, something they've built, provide 
how-to's, etc.

Program Director Cliff Green (WA2TMF) wants to hear from you! What kind 
of presentations would you like to see at our monthly meetings in 2020?
