Hello Cherryville!
This is KA2OEE, and name here is Bob.  A former club member, Larry, N2OCW, called me today to let me know he had run into another past club member, Eleanor, the xyl of N2VWL.  She told Larry that George is in poor health and is pretty much home bound due to his health.  He did not know any more details.
George (and Eleanor) were very active club members a few years back, and if I recall correctly, George was involved with and led the Skywarn effort for Hunterdon County for a number of years.  He was also involved in many other public service activities with Cherryville, as well as the CRA annual hamfest.
Many current members may not know George or Eleanor, but some of you who have been around a while probably do.  I would like to urge the club members and officers to reach out to George to offer support and encouragement.  I know George would be really pleased to hear from the club members, whether you knew him or not.
If I learn anything further, I will post an update message.
