All,

Len (N3SLJ), Chris (K2IUH) and I made a trip to Linvale last Saturday and removed the remote package for repair.
Sunday, I took the package to Ed (N3MSK) who diagnosed and removed a "Tin Whisker"
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whisker) in the receiver which had essentially shorted out the receiver RF path.
I replaced the  remote package this afternoon, tested and restored Linvale to operation.
