[W2CRA] CRA: 147.015 Mt. Kipp Repeater Change Notice

Note to all CRA members:

The Mt. Kipp 147.015 repeater is now using DPL/DCS of 411.  PL/CTCSS of 151.4 WILL NO LONGER WORK on 015!

Digital (YSF / C4FM) operation is NOT affected - should work as always as digital operation doesn't use PL or DPL.

This change is to determine if all the problems associated with analog operation are mitigated by using Digital PL
instead of regular PL.

So change your radio to use digital signaling (DPL/DCS) with a code of 411.  Yes, it is in the manual.

Also note; most squelch tails won't be heard so "kerchunkers" should pull up their kilts and deal with(out) it.

What you can do:
For the next 90 days or so I ask that you use it, use it, USE IT!  Try to break it - wear it out.
If you have ANY issues please let me know.
At the end of 90 days (end of Aug. ish) we'll make the determination to make the change permanent or scream at Yaesu to
fix the problem or make external changes to fix it.
