Subject: FS: Gordon Kittel W3GK - SK
This past December ham radio lost a good friend and colleague, Gordon W3GK. I've known Gordon since his early retirement in the late 90's, and of course from various hamfests we attended over the years. More recent, both Gordon and Carol became personal friends to several of us who live in the Philadelphia area. Gordon was well-versed in electronics, having graduated with a degree in EE from Villanova University; he operated his own radio sales and repair store in the 70's. Later he moved his repair shop to the basement of his home and continued to repair and modify tube type receivers and transmitters. As the years progressed, Gordon collected many of the older classic radios we remember from the post-war years of ham radio – and what a collection it is.
Gordon's son Steve (N3MXA), plus Joe (N3IBX), Paul (N3TMX) and I, have spent the past one or two months going through the house and putting together a list of those classic radios and equipment; and preparing to honor his memory by selling the collection properly. Our first thought was to rent a local fire hall and hold a silent auction, which we may do in the Fall. Then we became aware of the Warminster ARC hamfest move to the Bucks County Community College “Bristol Campus – this is now combined with the ARRL - EPA Section Convention on May 7th, 2017. We will have several indoor tables at the hamfest with Gordon's radios and a tribute to his life.

A word about our pricing;
It should be clear to everyone that selling a collection of this size and quality is difficult without Ebay or other auction house. The prices you see on Steve's list reflect the fees and packing costs associated with that type of sale. Private sales, where the buyer comes in and picks up the item(s) will be done on an individual basis and use a different pricing schedule. As a seller, Steve can always come down but never go back up. In other words, All Offers Cordially Considered. (AOCC)
Please contact Steve directly for pictures, a digital copy of the list, and express your interest in these radios at 610-574-6729 or stephenkittel at gmail.com
