CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!
EVENT: March of Dimes Charity WalkLOCATION: Spruce Run Reservation (offrte 31 near Clinton)DATE: Sunday, April 30TIME: 0800 – 1200COMMENTS: Have your HT with extrabatteries, some positions allow use of vehicle mobile radio. We'reoutdoors so dress for the weather. Food will be available
It's spring, and time for for the Marchof Dimes Charity walk at Spruce Run Reservation (on the last Sundayof April).
Every year W2CRA provides safetymonitoring and communications for the event. This year the date is:April 30. As usual, we will meet at the main parking lot (near theflag poles). Between 0730 and 0800. Coffee, tea, donuts and bagelswill be available for volunteers. We will make route monitoringassignments by 0830 and the walk begins at 0900. The walk, usuallyends between 1100 and 1200 and lunch will be available from about1130 to 1230.
