not in attendance can know what is going on in the club.

Cherryville Repeater Assn II

General MeetingNov 11, 2016

Attendees:There were 13 members in attendance.

Treasurer report: Paid for PO Box, power bills for remote sites and 
church meeting room.Bank balance is comfortable at the moment.

Technical report:Ventilated doors were installed in the new cabinets at 
the Cherryville site. The original doors were solid Plexiglas and did 
not provide any ventilation.Jim Curry is the new Hunterdon County 
Communications Director.We are going to reinstall the 444.850 MHz 
repeater with newer equipment in Cherryville.Also looking to put a 
repeater on 220 MHz again. The Mt Kip new Fusion repeater on 147.015 MHz 
has disappointing performance as experienced during the Skylands 
Triathlon. May go back to the older unit there.

Hamfest report.The date is Mar 11 2017 at North Hunterdon High 
School.The facility request has been submitted and proof of insurance 
and 501(c)3 paperwork.A fire inspection needs to be done on day of hamfest.

Public Service report:Turkey Trot in Flemington on Nov 24 2016 is last 
event for the year.Tony had signup sheet available at meeting and sent 
out notice via club reflector.

Membership:Four new hams from our Aug class were voted into 
membership.They are:

KD2LTAWalter, KD2LTB Dave, KD2IGC Carmine and KD2JJB Rick.

Education:Roberto K2PA has moved to Fla on his way to CA.We need a new 
chairman of this committee.

RACES:The room at Cherryville is coming together finally. AC and DC 
power has been installed.Remaining work on computers and antenna is ongoing.

ARES :No activity.There is currently no ARES coordinator for Hunterdon 
County.

Old business:None

New business:The Awards Dinner/Christmas Party will be held Jan 13 2017 
instead of during our Dec meeting date.

Meeting adjourned at 8:45 pm.
