What an incredible way to honor the true life and blood of the Cherryville Repeater Association II for many years. When I got licensed in 1982, Charlie was the first contact I had on the air and I got to know him well, working with him on many ham (and emergency management) projects during the time I lived in Hunterdon until 1989. Charlie even stopped by for a few hours when we were living in Iowa back in the 1990s.


I hope to hear that familiar WB2NQV call on the air again ... and if you really want to outdo it ... find one of the old Cherryville UPDATE recordings and pull Charlie saying "WB2NQV" off the tape and use it as an IDer! Wow ... now that would get you!


Thanks to all who have honored our friend Charlie with this awesome tribute.

WB2NQV now belongs to CRA via the Charlie Kosman Memorial Radio Association.
The Charlie Kosman Memorial Radio Association is made up of past and present CRA-II officers with an annual meeting held
midnight each Field Day where we sacrifice a cup of road kill chili in Charlie's honor.  :-)
