CRA members 

The Blackwell Mills equestrian trail ride is ON for Sunday 27 Sept 
2015. We will be using the K2NJ repeater in Hillsborough which is 
147.135, +600, PL 151.4Hz. 
The event starts at about 8:30AM and the first part is the canal path 
ride from Blackwell Mills to Rocky Hill and back. We need operators for 
Start/Finish, Bridge, Griggstown and Rocky Hill checkpoints. 
The second leg is in Six-Mile Run State Park and we need operators for 
Start/Start, Brook, Farm, Jaques Lane checkpoints. 
The event will end about 1:30PM and they have food available. 
Tony W2HWW will be net control. 

Please let me know if you will be there.

On Saturday, 14th March, an eagle was fitted with a camera and took flight from the top of that building, the Burj Khalifa, in Dubai. Here is the film. The eagle would have no idea where that speck of land was or what it looked like. It actually had to pick out and recognize the trainer. You can see him looking, looking, looking for the trainer, invisible to a human eye, then fold his/her wings and then drop like a bullet to that trainer... very cool. 
What surprises me is how smooth the flight is with no camera shake whatsoever.
