[W2CRA] A.R.E.S. group correction

I am sending out a notice for all who are in A.R.E.S. and for those who 
wish to join.... The Yahoo Group Calendar needs revising and I am 
working on that it is sending out notice for Nets that are not correct. 
The Net is the 4th Thursday of the month and I will be fixing it,with 3 
groups on the yahoo site it is a little funky. As I stated before I am 
moving away from the Yahoo group due to the lag in email notifications 
and the issue as we have just had an update that throws things off.

Also to date we have 5 surveys in and 3 response's to my email 
verification. This makes it difficult to move forward with A.R.E.S. 
operations as I have been asked what resources do we have and when I 
tell the groups I have been in contact with it is meet with the same 
question " How can you work with that many people ". _*All Notice's for 
Activation and Alerts will be from hunderdonares at gmail.com*_ ....These 
notices will go out to members who have placed surveys into the 
group.Remember we have a Website at http://hunterdonares.webs.com/ and 
it has all the files you need right now and all the info as to any 
situation that is of concern to us. Please check it out as it is the 
home of Hunterdon County A.R.E.S.

It is understood in a time of Emergency the Ham community will be there 
but in today's times County and State government want groups to have a 
list of resources and all personnel with accountability tags. In a sense 
we are no different then a Volunteer Fire man in we need to have a list 
of our personel and proper ID for them and training.  All that A.R.E.S. 
requires is 2 times a year join in on the On-Air Training, have a Go-Kit 
ready for deployment, and keep informed. Always remember Family comes 
first and A.R.E.S. will never deploy with an unsafe environment present.

We are currently updating contacts with  Red Cross,Hunterdon County CERT 
and the Hunterdon County OEM. I will be meeting with RACE's and the 
County OEM to work on A.R.E.S. future involvement on Disaster and other 
related activity's.

I hope this clarify s the yahoo notice issue and hopefully will bring a 
few more people to join A.R.E.S.
