Hello Cherryville!!
 
Once again, we have reached that time of month.  Yes, it is meeting week again, and I am looking forward to seeing all of you tomorrow night!
 
We will soon be getting into the holiday season with all the rush of Thanksgiving and Christmas before looking forward to another new year ahead of us, and CRA is no exception.  We have the 2012 ARES Simulated Emergency Test coming up soon, our Technician Licensing Class in October, and there is the 2012 Turkey Trot public service event on Thanksgiving morning.  Not long after that, we will be holding our annual Holiday/Awards Dinner at the church.  I for one, am looking forward to that event this year, and I hope all of you are as well.  We will need everyone's help to make this enjoyable and memorable, and I hope you will step forward and help make it a big success.  Those items will be on our business agenda tomorrow night.
 
We also will have a visitor presenting to us regarding the upcoming ARRL Division election.  Mike Lisenco, N2YBB, will be our speaker tomorrow.  Let's show him a good turnout.  All of you who are ARRL members have a vested interest in Mike's candidacy, and with elections coming up in October, we should make every effort to hear his position on the issues impacting amateur radio today.
