Hello All,
Field Day is quickly getting close. This year the event will be held on
June 23-24. The club will gather at our usual spot at the county
complex for setup on Friday June 22 at around 4:00pm.
We need all the help we can get to help set up so if you have some time
please plan to help out.
For stations this year we have:
Glenn AC2BH with a Siltronix radio for the GOTA station.
Tony W2HWW with a Kenwood TS-50 for and operators station. Also
PSK32 capable.
Kurt KR2C with a Kenwood TS-450 for an operator station.
Sid (sorry can't remember the call) will be there with his CW pavilion.
We have plenty of room for Joe ( again can't remember the call) and his
CW camper.
If anybody else has a radio that they would like to use, I'm sure we can
find some space an an antenna for it.
This year we would like to try and get the logging software network
connected. We would need 3 or 4 wireless capable laptops to make this
work well. I can furnish one or two for the cause. If you have one
that we can use, please let me know.
Once again, Tom NU2W has done a great job with the food. Here is what
he has organized:
Sat morning bagels, donuts, coffee
Sat afternoon subs, salads, soda
Sun morning more fresh bagels/muffins, coffee
Sun noon pizzas, soda
I will have some burgers/dogs for Saturday evening for anybody who wants
to eat out that night.
If there is anything that you can contribute please drop Tom an e-mail
at oemeoc88 at comcast.net and let him know what you can bring.
This is one of out big club events. It would be great to see you all
there helping and operating in the event.
