HELLO CHERRYVILLE!!
 
Our 2012 Annual Picnic committee chairs have only received a half dozen responses to their invitation to the membership for next Saturday's picnic.  Are you planning to attend?  How many will be in your party?  Do you have other plans?  We really need to know so we can proceed with this event.  
 
Do you, the members, want a picnic?  Show your support!  Send in your RSVP now!  Not interested in a picnic?  RSVP that you won't be there and why!
 
 
This event is intended for our members and their families and guests to enjoy some relaxation and socialization with your fellow club members.  I am sure that none of you know all of our other members and their families.  I, for one, would really enjoy an opportunity to get to know a little more about each of you.  What do you like to do when you are not doing radio?  
 
For once, the club is attempting to run an event exclusively for the members.  This is not a public service event, hamfest, or club meeting, but is a social event!  Are any of you interested in such an event?  
 
The 2012 Picnic will be held at White Oak Park on Baird Road in Branchburg this coming Saturday, the day after our monthly meeting, from 1 PM to 6 PM.  I would certainly like to see every member attend, even if only for a short time.  The only way we can put on a successful event is if you let the committee know whether you will attend or not.  Please, e-mail your response to Tom NU2W (NU2W at ARRL.NET) or Skip KC2TSE  (SKIPKC2TSE at EMBARQMAIL.COM) right away.  If we do not have enough people to make this event successful, we will be forced to cancel it, so RSVP right away.  Our cut off date will be Wednesday, so get your answer in now!
