Dee was at our meeting in Feb giving a presentation on AMSAT.  He was 
also at our Hamfest next to the club table also representing AMSAT.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of a local
amateur radio Operator, Dominick "Dee" Interdonato, NB2F, SK of Lodi
NJ. Dee passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 8, 2012.

Dee was currently serving as the Treasurer for the Bergen County FM
Association (BCFMA), the organization that owns and operates the
amateur radio repeaters on 146.790 Mhz, 444.100 Mhz and 443.100 Mhz all
located in Bergen County NJ.

He was active on the BCMFA's repeaters, as well as active in the world
of Amateur Radio Satellites or the AMSAT Organization. “AMSAT’s
primary focus is in the design, building and operation of experimental
Satellites and the promotion of Space Education.”  Some folks say
that Dee was “Mr. AMSAT”, as you could always find him at various
Hamfests representing the organization.

Visitation will be at the Santangelo Funeral Home, 300 N. Main St, Lodi
NJ this Wednesday (4/11) 7-9 PM and Thursday (4/12) 2-4&  7-9 PM. The
Funeral will be this Friday (4/13) 9:00 AM at Santangelo Funeral Home,
300 N. Main St., Lodi then to St. Joseph R.C. Church for a 10:00 AM
Funeral Mass. Interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans
Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Vietnam
Veterans of America, 8719 Colesville Rd., Suite 100, Silver Spring,
Maryland 20910 or AMSAT, 850 Sligo Road, Suite 600, Silver Spring, MD
2091

We will miss him so very much!  Rest in Peace, NB2F.
