[W2CRA] Specifications For Trailer

For those of you who haven't heard, I went and looked at new trailers and found 
that what we need sells for ~$3000 new.

I am developing final specifications to produce a quote request.  A written 
quote serves as protection from those little embarrassments like "You wanted 
tires too?"

Here's what I have so far:


Specifications for an Operations Trailer for the Cherryville Repeater Assn. II 
Trailer shall be a single axle, 2990# GVW, all aluminum skin, enclosed “cargo” 
trailer with interior dimensions of 6’ x 6’ x 12’ (H,W,D) similar to Ringo 
RTE6x12B, equipped with:
-          Full DOT legal lighting,
-          Surge braking system with breakaway,
-          Rear barn doors,
-          36’ curb side door,
-          Spare tire and mount – unmounted
-          Silver exterior paint.Stored / deployed stabilization will be via 2 
or 4 jackstands we purchase later.  


A rough (no) time line:
 - Finalize specs - 1 week
 - Get quote - 1 week
 - Order - 1 week
 - Receive and pay - 30 to 60 days *(requires a tax certificate)
 - Get registration - 1 week *(requires a trip to Trenton)
At this point we're looking at early August at the earliest - too late for Field 
Day and the Lebanon parade
 - Move to ?? for paint - unknown
 - Purchase and fit jackstand stabilization
 - Purchase and fit a cover!
 - Fit any exterior fittings that might affect paint
 - Paint exterior and clear coat (anyone w/ a friend with a paint booth?)
 - Fit out interior w/ accompanying disagreements.
 - Fit out antenna masts and cable ports
