All,
Field day is this weekend! I'm looking forward to seeing you all
there. Please remember that this event is open to everybody. If you
hold a technicians class license and want to get your feet wet on some
of the HF bands this is a good opportunity to do so. There should be
plenty of Elmers to help out.
We plan on doing the build up this Friday at around 4:00pm. We will
start as soon as we have enough people to safely get the work done.
Here are a few last minute things we might need for Field Day.
* Coolers. We cannot have enough
* Ice. If you bring a cool can you also throw in some ice?
* Water. We will need to stay hydrated all through the event.
* A desk lamp or 2
* small power strips
* We are still short of a Saturday night dinner. I'm looking for ideas.
Also, please be advised that the club is also having a sister project.
If you have some time to help sort out the club trailer we would like
some club members to help out.
