[W2CRA] SET Exercise, Saturday, Oct 2

I'm looking for a few more volunteers for the ARES SET Exercise (Simulated Emergency Test) this Saturday, October 2.
 
I'd like everyone to meet at Panera's Bread in Flemington at 0930 for their briefing (Panera's is in the strip mall on rte 202, north of the Flemington circle).
 
The goal of the exercise is relatively simple: we're going to be verifying our ability to communicate around the county using simplex rather than our repeaters. We know where simplex should work, according to modelling programs, but we're going to test that under "real world" conditions.

There will be a "PART TWO" of the ARES SET, this year...
On Saturday, October 9, we will be asking for volunteers to help Tom, AB2FG, test simplex communications among sites used by Public Health in Hunterdon. We will be testing communications among field sites, the County Department of Health offices, and the regional Medical Coordination Center.
Let me know if you're interested in helping on the ninth...
